Luxury sportswear or athleisure has been popular for a while now, but designers are refreshing the trend with side striped pants. The satin piping on tuxedo pants is what inspired the striped panels we’re now seeing on casual pants. That’s why side striped pants feel more formal than actually are.
I’ve always thought that you can get away with dressing up sweatpants and joggers, but the nod to tuxedo pants makes it that much easier. Lately, I’ve been wearing my striped pants with track tops and button-down shirts. However, I’m excited to style them with blazers and my favorite loafers this Fall.
