Winter officially just started, but retailers are already rolling out some of their spring collections. I’ve started switching gears as well by limiting my purchases to clothes that can transition into spring. I picked up this denim western shirt from American Eagle last week during their Christmas sale, because men’s denim shirts are one of those items that can easily be worn year round.
It took me a while to find the perfect denim shirt. Most denim shirts look like the equivalent of stone wash dad jeans. Some were way too long and others had weird distressing. American Eagle’s denim western shirt has decent weight too it. I also like the medium wash and subtle fading which adds a touch of character. To keep my look a little tonal, I’ve paired it with some navy chinos from Pacsun. Since the weather was surprisingly warm for winter, I took the opportunity to wear my suede biker jacket from ASOS and suede Chelsea boots from Crevo Footwear.
How do you guys feel about denim shirts?
