Find Your Perfect Fit With Bonbos’s Extended Sizing Line

When I started to develop an interest in fashion, my focus was on improving the fit of my clothes. Not only was I inspired by the outfits I’d see in magazines, but I paid close attention to how they fit on the models. At one time, finding clothes that fit was challenging. Stores either didn’t carry the fit I was looking for or didn’t have my size. Thanks to brands like Bonobos, I don’t have that problem anymore. In this post, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite items from their new Fall arrivals in extended sizing.

The founders of Bonobos built their company on offering guys the best fitting pair of pants. They’ve extended their categories and sizing since then. So now you can get just about everything you need to build a perfectly fitted wardrobe. Bonobos also offers Guideshops that take the guesswork out of finding the rights size. When you visit their Guideshops, they measure you and then you’re able to order all of your favorite items.

I’ve always been a little heavier, so it’s hard to find clothes that aren’t too big or too tight. I visited a Guideshop here in Lexington and they helped me find my perfect fit: athletic fit pants and standard fit shirts. I like the athletic fit because it’s roomier for my butt and thighs and tapers below the knee for a tailored look. Their standard fit shirts have a good amount of room in the chest and shoulders but slightly taper at the waist.

Not only do the clothes fit well, but they’re super comfortable too. I love dressing up, but I hate how awkward my clothes usually feel. A lot of times I feel like I’m going to rip my clothes when I try to reach for or lift things. But these chino pants, for example, have a little bit of stretch so the fabric moves with you.

Jackets are my go-to for Fall because they’re so versatile. Plus one of my goals is wearing more patterns this season. So for this outfit, I paired Bonobosboulevard bomber with their stretch washed chinos in the charcoal glen plaid. I love these chinos because the plaid makes them look dressy. Bomber jackets have a sporty vibe to them, so it dresses the shirt and chinos down. So this is a look that could easily transition from day-to-night. Click any of the links below to shop the post.
